  Feels a bit like a slight rehash of the first film, but still solid. Love the focus on Mr. Miyagi's backstory and just the Okinawa setting in general.

  Pretty huge blind spot for me over the years, figured it was finally time to check it out. 

  This thing is so overwhelming a product of its time, and in that way it maybe hasn’t aged super well across the board, but man this is still an undeniable banger.
