Dune 2021
There is absolutely no denying the magnificent scope of Dune. It’s nothing short of majestic and deserves nearly every technical award there is. A brilliant visual achievement.
That said, I found it to be incredibly hollow and emotionally unfulfilling. It’s gorgeous to look at and the entire cast is great. But I found it as engaging as a screensaver. Recommended for the technical achievement alone, but that’s about all.
