“Petite Maman" directed by Celine Sciamma is as of today my favorite film of the festival. Sciamma reunites with her Portrait cinematographer Claire Mathon (who also does Spencer) to bring us another visually gorgeous film. It follows a girl, Nelly, who just lost her grandmother and is helping her parents clean out her mothers childhood home. A reserved intimate depiction of grief, familial bonds all through a child's perspective. Sciamma directs her child actors beautifully. It's a little over one hour and it's perfectly paced and concise with its narrative. Absolutely loved it!

Trolls World Tour 2020
”Trolls World Tour ” is a fun film! I can attest this film will keep your child entertained for its entirety. It has vibrant glittery colors and decent music. I would be lying if I didn't admit that the third act of this film got to me. Sending a message of diversity in music, culture and complexions that our children desperately need. I wasn't expecting this film to dive into the history of music and how history is predominantly told…

Knives Out 2019
Knives Out is a great mystery film! I don't even know where to start! The acting is phenomenal, with Ana De Armas being my favorite. The whole cast had chemistry, and it radiates through the film. The story is well accomplished, and the film does keep you in suspense throughout the entirety. Each family member has their own story and connection to the victim (Harlan, patriarch of the family). The investigators speak to every family member just once more before they…

The Invisible Man 2020
The Invisible Man is a suspenseful, thrilling, nail-biting at the edge of your seat monster movie. Moss gives an excellent performance and is quickly becoming an interesting actress to look out for. The movie has a good story with some unexpected twists and turns. The sound design in this film is incredible and perfectly works with its smart and interesting camera movements. Indeed a pleasant surprise that I’d recommend to watch.
