  My wife and I watched this after watching the ‘05 adaptation (her first, mine at least 3rd). It’s perfect.

  Only note on this rewatch, why is poor Mary being looped in with Kitty/Lydia as being a silly girl by Mr. Bennet?!? She’s clearly a serious girl (with zero social skills, bless her)! Justice for Mary!

  Really enjoyed this on second watch. The DiCaprio trailer pep talk scene is SO. FREAKING. GOOD. 

  There is also no one better than Tarantino at intertwining gore and comedy. That final scene was a hilarious mix of my gore-repulsed wife covering her eyes in disgust and then giggling at the swiftly following hilarity
