Had some good parts but the concept doesn’t totally work and some scenes are really, really dumb and look like bad CGI. Certain sequences are edited in a way that’s hard to follow. Overall pretty disappointing.

Dune: Part Two 2024
Saw this in IMAX and it was a truly immersive experience. One of those experiences where I had no idea how much time had passed while watching it because it was fully enveloped in the story and, even more so, the visuals.

Feels like two movies awkwardly cut together into one. There’s a historical epic and a psychosexual love story. Neither of them of fully work but both have strengths.
