This was such a fun dumb movie from my childhood. When I saw it on Netflix I had to watch it again. The humor as an adult hits different. Kathleen Turner nails it as the overzealous housewife with the seemingly perfect life. This film is full of knee slap irony and pokes fun at WASP suburban culture. Great movie to pass the time.

Wow. What an insanely brutal and raw telling of the beginning of the end of Mayan civilization. This movie showed the brutality and cruelty of the people of that time. The foreshadowing of the little girl with the smallpox was chilling. And the way the girls prophecy came true throughout. The acting was amazing and this is such a unique story and film.

So I finally got around to watching this. I am a huge fan of the movies and the book series. I thought the movies did a great job with the original book trilogy. This movie dragged a little bit, but I really enjoyed watching the manifestation of Snows masochism develop. I also enjoyed seeing some of the ancestors of the characters we know like Cesar Flickerman in the form of his father Lucky. I thought Gauls character was portrayed well.…
