Watching this film was like watching a sexy painting. Beautifully shot and made, great acting, and a whole lot of sexual tension. It blended some really nice genre’s of the past, such as noir and melodrama. It had a really great cast that all felt very real and fun to watch. The music choices were fun. FINALLY got around to seeing this cult classic, and it lived up to the hype. I’m not a big golf guy myself, but I will say this movie made me laugh so much it made me wanna pickup a club. Sandler is hilarious in this film, as is Christopher McDonald. So many great physical gags and humorous one liners, really made it just such a fun watch.

    Would definitely watch again, 4/5.

I mean what is there to say about this film that hasn’t already been said. Denis Villenueve is one of the best working directors out there. He managed to tell so much story in seemingly a short time (I get it, it was long) but still, so impressive. The visuals were breathtaking, VFX on point, and a Hans Zimmer score too!? Perfection.

Where do you draw the line between telling the news for good versus telling the news for yourself. This film really excelled in pushing the themes of selfishness, righteousness and so much more. Showing these newscasters and television workers fighting to tell the truth was so compelling to watch as a horrific event unfolds in front of their eyes. But on the other side of that coin, is the idea that they have to tell that horrible news first. That’s…
