The Substance 2024
Brilliant. This is the best use of gore/body horror and nudity in a movie I've ever seen. Tragic and realistic. There were a few different directions the story could've gone for the ending, and they picked one of the fitting ones. Minus half a star because even though much of the nudity/gore was valuable for driving home the message, I still think the same force would've been conveyed had the imagery been less gratuitous.
