  another case of an overhyped film but it was so mid 

  i loved the way it was shot tho. it was beautiful visually but very dark visually. at the end of the day i actually wish it was a little hornier.

  incredibly tragic, profound and beautiful, I felt shaken by this film. it may not have been the messaging i wanted or think is super needed. however it was really visually beautiful and shows like a very nuanced take on transness, girlhood, and community. I think the perspective on trans community in particular was really special. sometimes you have to leave your old life and everything you know behind and bury yourself to come out new.
