    Again, I watched this on a cruise ship. It was explained by the BFI director of programming that introduced the film that it was an appropriate watch because much of it takes place at sea. I can't really argue with that logic.

    It is very funny, but almost totally on account of Monroe. Scenes she is absent from drag, and one waits for the next moment she's on screen. One of her subsequent comedies, Some Like Hot, doesn't suffer from the same issue as Curtis and Lemmon are brilliant in their roles.
