Better Man 2024
This was a good movie. It really had you rooting for Robbie.
I did however feel the end was a little bit meh. Like cool, he kills all of his demons at Knebworth, but it just felt a bit simple.
Probs a bit greedy to expect some cinematic way of tying the story together, since it is a biopic.
Overall was a good time. The Vue in Picadilly also had a decent Pick'n'mix spread. Big Coke cups too.

Predator 1987
How had I never seen this before now! What a great movie.
I really enjoyed this. It had such a simple plot, but it somehow left me wondering! Keeping the alien's backstory, as well as its willingness to spare the lady, really keeps you on edge.
It was also classic Arnie action! Lots of cool explosions and over-the-top killing. Karl Weather also showing why he
was elite in his prime.This is by no means high cinema, but it delivers on the sci-fi action burden with which it was saddled. Can't wait to continue watching this franchise.

I really enjoyed this one! Definitely not a 5 star but a hugely enjoyable flick with good tunes and some fun characters (particularly Olivia Colman and Johnson from Peep Show). Chalamet gave a better performance than Depp, but worse than Wilder (obviously). That being said he was clearly going for a lighter touch than his predecessors. I also really enjoyed the music !
Overall I can see why this movie has been so well received, with the harshest criticism coming…
