  Truly wacko B-movie glory from Richard Elfman (Forbidden Zone) with music by his brother Danny. I read someone describe it as "like an episode of Goosebumps directed by Quentin Tarantino," and that feels pretty accurate. Just a totally quintessential Tubi joyride. Not really sure who it's supposed to be for, but I loved it, so I guess it's for people like me?

  Sign me up for Sad Sandler, every single time. Not a great movie, but I really enjoyed it. If I had one critique, it would be that the spider didn't say "skinny human" enough.

  The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug 2013

  This movie has one of the biggest - and BADDEST - dragons that has ever graced the silver screen. His name is Smaug, and he LOVES treasure. Thankfully, Bilbo and the gang have more than a few tricks up their little sleeves. I do hope they can defeat that cranky old lizard! I'll be watching the 3rd Hobbit movie tonight to find out for sure. Praying I don't see a dwarf and hobbit bloodbath.
