I Saw the TV Glow 2024
Can we pls make queer movies with actual substance to them lol, pretty and all but apart from that virtually no character building, no discernible dynamics. Just felt as though all the actual plot was siphoned out of that movie to make way for a snail mail cameo and some pink smoke.
Most of the monologues also imo felt half baked and empty of constructive narrative building. Maybe it’s just me, but this one just didn’t sit right. I think…

Mysterious Skin 2004
The type of movie u watch once because a) Jesus fucking Christ why and b) it’s so gorgeous it’s almost impossible to forget.
Not to mention the slowdive/Brian eno/ Sigur Ros soundtrack, huge for annoying people.
