I've never experienced such unrelenting, creeping dread before. This blended nostalgia & unease in a way that is both uncannily familiar & terrifyingly unpredictable. I loved how the coy framing, disorienting sound, and grainy texture forced you to peer frantically into the darkness, almost hoping you'll see something there.
I'm truly devastated that I didn't find it scary, but based on most reviews I think that's more about me than any failing on the movie's part. If I had found this on…
