  Didn’t get to watch on Good Friday this year, but some quick thoughts from this year’s showing:

  - Interesting how hard the film leans into the humanity of Jesus! Very low divinity here. Some of this is for plot, certainly, but I don’t think the plot would make sense outside its post-war context and that particular theological moment
  - Everyone loves to complain about Ken getting the best song, story, etc in Barbie but this musical is ABOUT Judas Iscariot—Jesus…
