what if you were bisexual and hated your girlfriend's girlfriend and people kept dying and there was an alien invasion and you were high and kept having visions of a twink and then you were boyfriends for two seconds and then he turned into a bug.
even though 99% of the things that happened in this movie will never happen to me (knock on wood) i still finished it finding it strangely relatable. i found myself really connecting to that…

The Name of the Rose 1986
couldn’t bring myself to give it any less than 4 stars, but i understand why one would… thoroughly enjoyable to me, but also suffers a bit from wacky pacing and odd historical choices as well as having one of the few sex scenes i might actually call unnecessary (in a very french way). nonetheless carried by great performances and some pretty shots. lucky for me i love medieval settings as well as monasteries and murder mysteries

The Apartment 1960
this may very well be the perfect movie… started watching and remembered i must’ve started watching it years ago but never finished. was surprised by how funny it was (jack lemmon and shirley maclaine both have such excellent and endlessly charming physical comedy) and then by how heartfelt it got and how perfectly crafted the characters and script were. just absolutely adored it… experiencewise
