Kubrick shows that human stupidity and power are a more dangerous combination than nuclear weapons.
Black comedy about the absurdity of Cold War paranoia and the threat of nuclear annihilation. Brilliant humor and grotesque show how one crazy order leads the world to the brink of catastrophe, and the incompetence of those in power only worsens the situation. Full of satire and great dialogue, the film is entertaining, but at the same time terrifying in its realism.

it's a great movie - it keeps you in suspense, has great characters and a plot that draws you in from start to finish. The acting is top notch. The only flaw is Antoni's hair - he has a totally shitty hairdo that's distracting. But apart from that, the movie is really great.

The film is ultimately too average and overrated. The film's acclaim seems to be more about the mood of critics and the need to celebrate "modest cinema" than the actual quality of the story itself. If you're looking for something more intense, emotionally engaging, or just less irritating - this film will probably disappoint you.

a great war comedy full of black humor and irony. Light style, witty dialogue and intelligent jokes make it one of the best films in its genre - funny, original and well written. However, nothing can replace the original series.
