  I watched this on the plane, this was my favourite Disney movie as a kid and I still adore the animation and songs. I love that the Queen is such a dark force and has no fumbling comedic element like the evil characters seem to need to have in kids films these days. It’s the archetypal story of enmity between aging and young women, not sure I would let my daughter watch it…

  This film made being a middle-aged divorcée seem not so sad, but actually really fun and exploratory. I guess we are reborn at each new phase of life. A simple, funny and honest film about mature relationships with tender performances by Gandolfini and Louis-Dreyfus.
