The Menu 2022
Went into this movie totally blind and throughly enjoyed every minute of it. Really made me regret the time I could go see it in the theatres but decided it didn't look interesting enough, oh well.
Great acting and editing, enjoyable humour and simple but captivating plot right off the bat!

Astonishing what this movie has accomplished with only a €5 million budget. Visually stunning, this movie provides an innovative and fresh biopunk approach to the sci-fi genre that gets you entranced from the very beginning.
While at times the story isn't necessarily the strongest or most original, the world-building easily carries the movie. One of the few rare times when I'd want to rewatch the movie right away because seeing it just once wasn't enough.

Bones and All 2022
Not a perfect movie by any means, but I found it incredibly beautiful, intimate and tender. Having the cannibalism be a pretty ambiguous metaphor for one to fill it with meaning of their own, as well as embracing and fully showcasing the gore when needed, worked perfectly to highlight the deeply romantic and human nature of the movie.

Last Night in Soho 2021
What a visually stunning movie. Really loved the actors' performances and was really enjoying the movie 2/3 of the time.
Then the remaining 1/3 of the movie came. It's pretty rare that a bad turn of events disappoints me so much that it ruins the entire film for me but this was one of such cases. Loved it for the most part but the parts that I didn't love were... bad.
