  First of all, this really didn’t need to be a musical, the songs weren’t good enough for me to want to listen to them again.

  I loved this movie when I was younger and I would listen to the soundtrack a lot but now I’m older and I have different opinions…I mean the mirror scene is still great and the sisters are an hilarious duo but everything else was just alright you know it’s fine but also NOW with the current knowledge that Selena was 16 in this while Drew was 26, giving them a VERY uncomfortable 10 year age gap makes me go yeah no thank you, I’m good 🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️ 

  Would I recommend to others?

  I had a feeling I was going to like it but not as much as I ended up when it finally hit the credits. Great cast, incredible cinematography, I also enjoyed how the story was a slow burn but it was purposeful and it paid off. I was left with some unanswered questions here and there but I didn’t mind so much since what was happening on the screen kept me so immersed and on the edge of my seat.…
