    A film about the secure transfer of data really should have stopped to ask if it was safer to move said data in a vulnerable human being that needs to get it out of his head within a certain time frame or just … y’know… take the disc in their pocket. 

    Premise aside, the script is lame, it looks terrible and the characters lack any depth. A complete dud.

    Well this was certainly an experience. 

    Despite the run time making it feel like seasons had come and gone whilst watching it, I was never bored over the course of the THREE HOURS AND FORTY SEVEN MINUTES of the restored version. 

    Instead - I was gripped by a film that masterfully weaves together a compelling story, beautiful shots, a rich and vibrant score and the career defining performance of Peter O’Toole as Lawrence. 

    This is a classic for a reason.…
