Let me describe the plot to 1995’s Mortal Kombat: an evil warlord invites an elite group of martial artists to his private island to participate in a martial arts tournament. Among the contestants is a celebrity and a monk seeking revenge for the death of a sibling. Sound familiar?
Also crazy to imagine that a movie from 50 years ago that predicted the Jeffrey Epstein debacle: an evil warlord invites an elite group to his private island and persuades them to join him by enticing them with drugged and kidnapped women.
Not really a review but crazy nonetheless to consider the cultural impact of this movie.
