If you love "Dredd", you'll love this one aswell! Two movies that are very similar when it comes to the plot, and violence, but then again, they're very different.
Whereas Dredd's violence is esthetic and maybe even beautiful, the violence in The Raid is raw, unfiltered and nasty. Which really serves the plot of the film, because it wouldn't have the same impact otherwise.
If only they could make action movies like this in Denmark! But alas, we can only make boring overacted dramas, or really stupid and unfunny comedies. Yikes.
Anyway, go watch it!

Truly a masterpiece in direction, storytelling and how to build up tension to that nervewrecking finale! I've never yelled so much at my TV, as I did in the last intense 20 mintues of that movie. But what a payoff! Can't recommend this movie enough, especially if you're a fan of westerns and Kurt Russell
