i feel like it should’ve ended after judy tore up the letter and ferguson came to take her to dinner. a really good first half but then it just drags on. i see the vision for the second half but it just doesnt seem to be paced/executed/acted with the same precision ?

the massive mural in his apartment that just says “jazz” kills me every time. dunno if it was meant to be a gag or not but it’s probably my favorite one of the film. the whole bachelor pad is gold really, steals the show. had to rewind that one serious conversation because I couldn’t stop watching that cgi fish tank which appears to be filled by scaled-down sharks. I’d come over and watch countdown everyday too.
