  I'm embarrassed to say I love this movie because so many dudebros watch this film like Fight Club - No, you are not Travis Bickle, and you should not aspire to be like him in any way.

  I do really love Travis's story, and I think as social commentary on what the Vietnam war did to people, Taxi Driver excels. It's a great movie co-opted by weirdos.

  A Christmas Story 1983

  A Christmas tradition, a classic, a wonderful movie to get you to feel like a kid again.

  One part in particular makes you feel like the film was made in 30s instead of the 80s (and it's right at the very end, which leaves a very sour taste in my mouth,) though I think the rest of the movie is really lighthearted and reminds me of being a kid around Christmas.
