Really trying to parse through like // discomfort with this one.
This movie moved through time quite uniquely with incredibly long unmoving shots, scenes that linger, lots of silence. I wasn’t totally sure where it was headed (I was curious and cared ) but I wanted it to be over so I could stop aching for the characters?
The ending though… whatever I thought it was going to be was NOT that; felt like a Gregg araki spin where suddenly the violence throughout took on a new meaning?
