  Having seen the musical a year prior, I was keen to see if this one lives up to the reputation... and it does, Incredibly well! The long runtime was a worry but I surprisingly didn't feel eager for it to wrap up. The cinema applauded at the end, justifiably.

  The dialogue in this makes Star Wars Episode II sound like Shakespeare's work. It feels something like Bond fan fiction written by a 7th grader with a crush on their classmate and the hots for their English teacher (IFYKYK).

  The acting is sub par, especially when characters fall or get shot. Didn't want to pay top dollar for stunt people? Looks like a 3rd world country knock off of an American spy movie.

  An Australian Film worthy of the pool room. This all Aussie affair is true to the heart and doesn't over do the Aussie-ness the way most local films seem to. A snapshot into the Australian dream, it showcases Australian culture and life in a simple yet effective delivery. The amount of one liners, references and aussieness that comes from The Castle make it the gold standard for Australian story telling and comedy. If Australia was to shoot a time capsule…
