Little Women 2019
thought the symbolism and character development was juvenile, which is to say was too ‘hand-holdey’. Not much was left for the mind to wander though tbh the lives of four educated smart women destined for less than they deserve should have room for mystery and analysis.
Ive always liked a difficult character however jo is downright insufferable. The pacing with certain characters is lacking and makes the conclusion fall flat.
Love the ‘small moments’ between the sisters, the scenes with organic with the talking over and movement.
