Weirdly enough it’s much better than I expected. Plot aside, the movie broke out of the stereotypical theatrical line delivery style that Vietnamese movies usually have. The female cast, especially the main 3 are highlights of the movie actually.
Dialogues are corny due to Tran Thanh’s obsession with quotable lines, but still bearable (maybe it’s Phuong Anh Dao’s acting that saved the dialogue idk). Not a fan of Tran Thanh but I gotta say, overall, one of the best Viet movies I’ve watched.
