  Superman III 1983

  At first I was upset that Lois wouldn’t be in the movie - and then superman wasn’t in the movie either??
  But honestly the comic book goofiness is still lovable! I adore that evil superman is just kind of a dick. I love the goody-ass villains. And it’s always nice to see Jimmy Olsen be the damsel in distress whenever Lois is preoccupied. 

  It really needed some pacing fixes, but when the attempt is this earnest, I can’t help but love what we’ve got.

  Can't remember a time when I was so instantly invested in a movie's plot. Truly an insane choice to make a movie backwards but holy hell does it pay off! The skill at play here to make this even a bit coherent is masterful. It's immediately moved up as one of my fav Chris Nolan films.
