movie did not fully commit to being sexy or dramatic so it just had this weird pretentious air with unnecessary moments. nicole kidman is doing what she can to have a character and for some reason the dude is so cardboard. it’s a shame bc the sex scenes are good; there’s just not enough. should’ve committed to being raunchy and erotic without the weird awkward guilt storyline and random lesbian daughter parallels.
