    It feels like a classic sci fi short story with modern takes. The lessons on humanity might seem preachy if it took itself more seriously but the tone is fun and over the top.     This was the best I could’ve hoped for in a new Lord of the Rings project. The story is self contained and lower stakes but focuses more on engaging character driven conflict. The music is inspired by Howard shore’s work but doesn’t feel too derivative.

    While the animation was gorgeous at times, it came off as uncanny and a bit jarring in others. Not sure if it was over processed or not.

    The story is fun and whimsical and I felt like it was a twist on Hamlet which was fitting for the Scottish influence in Rohan’s designs.
