soooo thought I bought tix to quiet place but then twisters (aka girl tries to cure tornados) happened. Huh. Well- there were a boat load of cliches, I could see most of the plot coming from a mile away, was hella confused they didn’t see that one tornado coming (iykyk), and there were WAY too many people who still had their hats on after the tornado scenes. BUT. I did get goosebumps. I did enjoy glen as a tornado wrangler. And I did have fun watching it. 
p.s. if this is how Oklahomans react to tornados I think we do it better in Kansas.

ok ok ok what did I just see. here’s me expecting a Michael bay-adjacent action thriller and getting something entirely different- their marketing team did not do this film justice. photojournalism is badass and horrible and raw and this movie laid it all out bare in an eerie war-torn American backdrop that felt too close for comfort. *chills* I’ll be thinkin about this one for a while.

lololollll that’s all. kinda wanna watch it again. side note: connor mcgregor is a psycho in this movie and i can’t decide if i saw too much of his smile or his ass, probably both. they will probably both live in my nightmares…
