A true cinematic experience from start to finish. Such depth and breadth of human experience portrayed, authentic, relatable humor and emotional arcs and psychology, and deep, implicit allegories makes this basically a near perfect film. Superb acting all around. Bravo.

Cool that theywere post modern about the Zendaya bait (who was quite convincing as a coach and heart wreck, less as a player). Entertaining and quite clever with interesting twists, but a little overdrawn and pretentious and laughable at points. Not quite cringe since it was almost comedic relief? Intentional? Interesting and worth a watch, but didn't really feel anything terribly unique.

This is the only justification for super long form content that I'll ever need in reserve again. Never have I ever felt like I craved for the immersion I felt when under this film's spell. Brilliant for countless reasons that are readily apparent from the first frames until the end. I was able to feel a whole spectrum of feelings. Unbelievable. A tour de force. Up there. Thank you.
