The last twenty minutes really made my score higher. Why didn't James Wan make the entire movie like that? An hour and half of schlock action horror would have been better than what we got.

Nosferatu 2024
I've been in a multi year funk during which I could not fully enjoy movies. Maybe it was stress. Maybe it was depression. Nosferatu was the first film in years to capture me fully. If you distilled my taste in horror down to its purest form, it would be this.
I like that Orlok was disgusting. I'm glad that Skarsgård went with such a dramatic accent and voice.
Lily Rose Depp was great - watching her convulse and lose her mind to her unwanted devotion to Orlok was dreadful.
Every frame, as usual for Eggers, was brilliant. He makes the ocean look terrifying, powerful, and mysterious.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald 2018
I left the theater halfway through to get a double cheeseburger, and 10 chicken nuggets, from Burger King. They gave me my ketchup in a little plastic container - barbecue sauce too, so that was strange since you typically get sauce packets from Burger King.
I considered going back to the theater to finish the movie, but I went back home and watched the last half of the worst Adam Sandler movie, The Cobbler, with my mom.
