Just incredible, hilarious, and inspiring from start to finish. For nearly 40 minutes straight, this movie doesn't go almost a single frame without a gore gag onscreen. I've never seen a movie so full of raw cartoony energy act on every possible idea, so effortlessly. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever 2022
I just about blew my brains out when they hyped up Shuri's "favorite colonizer" and good guy CIA agent, Martin Freeman, with Red Hot Chili Peppers. An almost interesting movie trapped in the marvel formula. What really rubbed me the wrong way though was how contradictory the Wakandan politics become once the Marvel-isms creep up and all of a sudden they go from wanting to protect vibranium from the filthy hands of the US, to siding with America against the sympathetic revolutionary (AGAIN). What a joke. Propaganda under the guise of being "inclusive and diverse", Coogler has been reduced to just another cog in the machine.
