Some really good shots in this movie. The landscapes and cinematography were just gorgeous. Quite the recovery from Assassin’s Creed by Justin Kurzel. Interested to see what he does next.
Jude Law remains the OG and holds it down very well in this movie. Tye Sheridan always makes for a very convincing pure-hearted protagonist. And I think Nicholas Hoult deserves A-list status. I’m loving his filmography so far. The dude’s got range. Looking forward to his portrayal of Lex Luthor!

I’m putting this Walton Goggins performance in my all-time favs. It’s my personal favorite from Samuel L. Jackson too, which is saying something, because he might have the greatest filmography of any actor. Quentin Tarantino can be thanked for a lot of that and you guessed it, it’s now my favorite film from him as well. The Hateful Eight hits the trifecta and rockets up to #2 in my Letterboxd Favorites, supplanting its counterpart Django Unchained.…

This will be a heavy favorite to win Best Picture and it has every right to be. Oppenheimer is just an incredible cinematic achievement. There are really no problems with this movie.
