  In this show, a kabuki monster kidnaps several combat athletes so that he may possess them in order to fight a magical kung-fu grandpa because he ate the grandpa's fiancee and also loves her. The grandpa's fiancee is the same age as his granddaughter, who 100% approves of their union. The grandpa also makes weapons that look like kids toys but he mostly uses them to cut vegetables.

  This is maybe among the top 25 weirdest things that happen in this show.

  Early thoughts:

  1) Best TMNT movie, easily. No it's not perfect, no it's not always lore-accurate but it is cool and fun and vibewise what I love about TMNT.

  2) Best depiction of dumbass, annoying-ass, never-shuts-the-fuck-up-ass kids since The Goonies. This is a compliment. Actual kids suck and it's actually very good when they suck in movies.

  3) This is a "beautifully ugly" film. It looks gross in the best way. Lovingly disgusting. More stuff that looks like this, thank you.

  4) There are so many good movies out right now.

  5) Milk.
