  I wanted to be terrified. I’d heard other people were petrified. I was severely disappointed.

  Except for the last 10ish minutes. They were great. Truly shocking and scary. More of that please.

  Alien: Romulus 2024

  I came for horror. I didn’t jump once. 

  ‘People-being-trapped-on-a-spaceship-and-slowly-getting-killed-one-by-one’ is one of my least favourite genres and I’m not a huge fan of Sci-Fi’s. However, Alien originated that genre and did it well so I forgive it.

  I desperately wanted to feel scared but because this film followed the exact formula and blueprint of all the previous Alien films, it ended up predictable. 

  However, I can’t deny the cinematography was phenomenal.
