  Watched the other day and forgot to review. After the trailer alone, anyone can tell this is a bold film with a tricky premise (and fantastic colors). Spoofing Hitler is something I would not personally attempt. STILL a good example of balancing comedy/drama in a script. Waititi is goooooooood.

  Went to premiere at Sundance. Wanted to love it but couldn’t wait for it to be over. Really made me cringe. I was exhausted at the time but I found it to be more annoying than it was clever. Joe Kerry did really well in an entirely new type of role but the actual sounds in the movie gave me a headache. For me, it needed to be a bit darker to pull off what the film was going for.
