  while watching the entire thing, i felt as though i was watching my younger self with my dad

  this film has a dangerous amount of aspects i could relate to, and even though thats an extremely personal matter, that doesnt mean i dont appreciate the film for what it's trying to achieve

  thank you for reminding me to call my dad (tha gaol agam ort)

  pretty misogynistic but what r u going to expect from a film in the 40's

  regardless, there were surprisingly really charming sequences and beautifully written/performed songs
