I was feeling so excited to see a movie about the female sexual experience that was created by a woman! However…I am walking away very disappointed. The borderline beastiality was disturbing and really took me out of any eroticism. I also just don’t think pet/owner dynamic is the most interesting or thoughtful portrayal of sexual dominance/submission, personally.
