I was sympathetic to the premise, but everyone’s tea and ulterior motives for the weekend together was bonkers. And like….all the secret fucking and the girls don’t kiki the next day?? Glenn Close feels totally fine the next day????? It wasn’t what I expected, but maybe I just had to go to u of m to understand 🤷♀️

I need a behind the scenes feature on how they shot that big honkin church.
They successfully captured the anxiety of living and the stubbornness of artists. I’m also curious about the choice to leave out the assumed horrific scenes between the niece and rich son (whatever happened at the river), and Harrison’s suicide. They also showed us some pretty repressed queer men! A rewatch is in order for sure!
