Writing was weak but the visuals were good.
Great expansion of the coliseum, wasn’t a straight cookie cutter movie one which I feared it would be.
I personally with they would’ve kept his identity reveal until the end or made him the grandson of Maximus or not related but inspired by him.
The sudden flip of the army, slave to king arc, and twin emperors took away the realism of this movie.
