This movie upset me a lot. I think it's really good. I'm never going to watch it again.

Genuinely might be a masterpiece, guys. Combines the cinematographic elements of German Expressionism from the first Nosferatu movie with more of the original Dracula story, and some really gross horror. Some shit happened I was NOT expecting, while still being faithful to Nosferatu. The way they use long shots and horribly tight close-ups makes things spooky and the commitment to extremely high-waisted pants make things fun. Casting choice A+. Lily-Rose Depp wins this movie for her judgement of when to use restraint and when to go batshit crazy.

This movie is almost a meaningful commentary on police violence and how the public mistrusts cops, seeing them as a shadowy, faceless, all-powerful force which deals out violence seemingly at random, putting down innocent people.

It isn't. It's a bad movie. Bruce Campbell does do a flying jump kick that kicks a shotgun out of someone's hands, though, so it gets bumped up to a 2 out of 5.
