The ultimate stubborn, toxic masculinity, creep movie. I mean LaMotta left a great wife for a 15 year old because she left the steak on the pan for a minute too long. An incredibly unlikeable character that is portrayed unbelievably well by Dr Niro and balanced by his two brilliant co-stars Pesci and Moriarty.

I don't think anyone does dialogue better than Scorsese, maybe Tarantino, but that's about it. The dialogue in this movie was so real and captivating and the b&w added to this historical piece. Masterpiece.

Raunchy and overdone with unnecessary scenes that drag on in attempt for comedic relief, this movie provides some Christmas entertainment and some laughs.

For such a simple film, it is impressively entertaining and funny. The darkness and seriousness of the plot is filled with comedic relief in a perfect balance. The highlight of the film, however, is the tremendous acting on screen by the very few actors we see in the movie. Despite that, the biggest gripe for me is the difficulty in understanding the Irish language and accents without having any subtitles in the screening I watched.

Blown away by Pacino's performance in this movie. To start out as a charismatic but arrogant character and devolve into this paranoid, me-against-the-world drug king goes to show Pacino's range as Tony Montana. There is also something about dialogue and conversations in older films that has this more realistic feel to it compared to films of this day and Scarface portrays this beautifully with its genuine dialogue and character interactions.
