Nope 2022
Nope is the most frustrating type of film, one that you can tell was made with such care, attention and inspiration from Jordan Peele, but ultimately ends up being flat and boring for most of its two and a half hour runtime. The first 30 minutes of the film were interesting and intriguing as well as one other scene later within the second half, but overall the film felt very unexciting and dull.
After Jordan Peele’s successful run with his previous two films it is disappointing to see a director, writer and producer that is held with such prominence create something that feels ultimately underwhelming. 2/5Translated from by
