The Killer 2023
Very much enjoyed this movie. Fassbender continues to show why he’s one of my favorites, and this watch was even more enjoyable after watching a cold and calculating alternative in Black Bag. Not to mention The Smiths playing throughout - can’t go wrong with that.
Not my favorite fincher, but when you set the bar they high, it’s hard to continuously reach it - not to say this isn’t great. Beautifully shot, I’ll have to sit with this one for a while.Translated from by -

Really great film that I think builds on certain aspects of the book I found lacking. Also carries a much more impactful ending, while also somewhat reaching a similar conclusion. Overall really good, definitely needs a rewatch.
Keep an eye out for that Bong Joon Ho guy. Who knows, maybe he’ll even win best picture someday? 👀
