Suzume 2022
This was such a treat to watch while on a flight back home! Suzume is so gender, and I found myself in her a lot. Every character felt so raw and real in a way that’s hard to describe. The visuals were beautiful, I’d even call it ethereal. Grief was definitely something I’d connect to this film, and having lost someone incredibly close to me, I reminisced quite a bit in the two main characters. ♡︎
