  confusingly less than the sum of its parts. though i guess i can't think of a movie that works the opposite way. cheaply self-destructive with an uncompelling dive before the bounce. i won't fault an actor involved, certainly not jake gyllenhaal, but wiseman is one of the most powerful songs squared up against my emotions and all i felt at the end was indifference
